Cassius O. Johnson (MPAff '02), an education policy analyst, will join Carnegie Corporation of New York as a program officer working on the foundation’s New Designs for K-16 Pathways program. Johnson is an experienced education reformer, whose tenure at Jobs for the Future has been marked by his analysis of, and advocacy for, policy initiatives to increase the graduation rates and college readiness of urban and low-income students.

MGPS Student Allison Ramirez has journeyed to El Salvador many times, once as a Fulbright Scholar to work on a documentary about the history of oppression and injustice in the country, always with the aim of supporting the families of missing migrants through advocacy work. After graduation, Ramirez plans to continue her work in advocacy, with a focus on migrants' rights, either in El Salvador or in the United States.
