LBJ's Jeremi Suri weighs in on Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's petition with the Texas Supreme Court to compel counties to "follow Texas law on mail-in ballots" rather than allowing more voters to receive mail-in ballots during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I think concern that Republican leaders have in Texas is that they are concerned more people will vote and more people will vote against them — there's no other way to understand this," he said. "The argument about fraud is an argument without evidence."
