***Excellence in Leadership classes require a minimum of eight (8) participants to proceed. This ensures participants gain the full benefit of the training experience.

Objectives:
1. Define what constitutes a crisis and distinguish it from routine challenges or emergencies.
2. Identify the stages of a crisis and the leadership actions appropriate to each stage.
3. Analyze real-world crisis case studies to evaluate effective and ineffective responses.
4. Apply communication strategies for managing uncertainty and maintaining trust.
5. Evaluate your leadership style and how it manifests under pressure.
6. Differentiate between an Incident Command System and a Crisis Response Plan
7. Build a crisis management team and assign roles using the Incident Command System framework.
8. Develop a crisis response plan, including communications, logistics, and after-action review components.

Program Knowledge Level:
This basic course is ideal for managers that want to lead with clarity and courage through crisis.
