The LBJ School, in partnership with Polissia National University of Ukraine, is honored to co-host the international workshop A Policy Blueprint for Ukraine’s European Union Integration Workshop: Co-Creating Risk Reduction and Climate Adaptation Strategies in the Agriculture Sector at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
This workshop brings together Ukrainian ministry officials, EU representatives, and global academic leaders for crucial discussions on refining actionable pathways, addressing institutional barriers, and generating concrete policy recommendations that will enhance agricultural resilience and food security in Ukraine.
Professor Sachin Shah (LBJ School of Public Affairs) and Dr. Vitalii Dankevych (Polissia National University) will facilitate the 3-day event that will build out climate adaptation strategies within Ukraine’s agricultural sector, with a direct focus on supporting the country’s European Union (EU) integration process. Building on a previous scenario-planning initiative hosted by the LBJ School Washington Center, this follow-up workshop advances the focus from strategy development to actionable implementation.
