***Excellence in Leadership classes require a minimum of eight (8) participants to proceed. This ensures participants gain the full benefit of the training experience.
In the event that a class is rescheduled, we will notify participants via email automatically registering them in the next scheduled training. If the new date does not work, the participants can respond with a preferred date.

1. Define conflict and describe its positive and negative implications.
2. Describe how conflict is influenced by organizational culture.
3. Develop effective communication strategies for conflict resolution.
4. List five conflict response modes and describe the appropriate use of each response.
5. Explain the impact of assumptions and listening skills in conflict situations.
6. Explain and apply elements of an interest-based negotiation style.
Program Knowledge Level:
This basic course is ideal for managers look to build a toolbox for working out differences and to use conflict as an opportunity for personal and organizational growth and change.

Once you register you will receive the following assessment, which you are strongly encouraged to complete prior to the start of training:
- TKI (Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument)
