Dr. Meg Reiss is the founder and CEO of SolidIntel Inc., an early stage venture–backed generative AI company that derisks supply chains. She is concurrently a nonresident senior fellow at the Scowcroft Strategy Initiative of the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security and a visiting fellow at the George Mason School of Law’s National Security Institute. She is also a Schmidt Futures International Strategy Fellow.
Most recently, Dr. Reiss spent four and a half years as US Senator Mitt Romney’s national security policy advisor where she oversaw his national security and foreign policy portfolios. Previously, she was a senior national security fellow for the R Street Institute, a senior editor of Lawfare, and a senior national security fellow for then US Senator Ben Sasse. Dr. Reiss has a BA from Stanford University, an LLM from the University of Nottingham School of Law, and a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.
