Course title: Applied Economics for Policy Analysis 

This course aims to develop students' critical thinking and analytical skills regarding current economic policy issues in business and government. You'll learn to apply microeconomic tools to analyze public policies. The course is divided into four units: Introduction to Supply and Demand: Understand market equilibrium and the government's role in a private market economy. Consumer Behavior: Explore how consumers make decisions and the factors that influence their choices. Producer Behavior: Study how firms operate and make production decisions. Advanced Topics: Apply economic tools to analyze policy issues like equity vs. efficiency trade-offs, externalities, public goods, social insurance, and asymmetric information.
