FOOD POLICY AND CLIMATE CHANGE
The International Panel of Experts in Sustainable Food Systems (IPES-Food) is a multidisciplinary body that has helped to craft policy from the European and African Unions to individual state and city-level food system policies, most recently through the Glasgow Food and Climate Declaration. Students in this class have in the past helped to lay the groundwork for an ecologically and socially transformative US Farm Bill, publications on land and regional food markets, and an analysis of the Glasgow Food and Climate Declaration. Specific demands for this PRP will be formulated by the Panel over the summer of 2024, and students should expect their inputs to be published in 2025/26.
