ECONOMICS AND FINANCE
Survey of the theoretical and empirical literature related to the economic context of and finance policy within K-12 institutions. Covers a wide range of concepts, processes, and policies, such as patterns of financing educational institutions; federal, state, and local governmental roles; revenue sources; costs; benefits; equity; efficiency; budgeting; and finance policy implementation. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
