Survey Design

Surveys and survey data are essential to understanding and addressing social problems. The objective of this course is to develop students’ skills in designing, piloting, administering, and interpreting survey research in an ethical manner. Multiple methods of survey administration will be covered including internet surveys, phone surveys, and paper surveys. The assignments will be applied. Students will have to administer surveys and analyze survey data. Students will not have to purchase a textbook all the readings are freely available through the university.
