The Public Affairs Alliance for Communities of Color will host journalist, activist and nonprofit executive director Alison Weir to discuss the U.S. relationship with Israel and its impacts on our foreign policy with other countries.
Drawing on her best-selling book, Against Our Better Judgment: The Hidden History of How the U.S. Was Used to Create Israel, Weir will discuss the century-long pro-Israel movement in the U.S., media coverage of Israel-Palestine, the role of Israel partisans in promoting the Iraq War and in the continued demonization of Iran, and developments under the Trump administration.
