2022 LBJ DC Fellow
Sarah Morningred is a candidate for the Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. A California native, she graduated magna cum laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a major in English, minors in Spanish, psychology, linguistics and women's & gender studies, and a certification in teaching English as a second language.
Previously Morningred worked as a communications associate for the Volcker Alliance, a New York City-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering the public sector workforce to solve public problems. While at LBJ, she continued to work for the Volcker Alliance part-time from Austin before moving to Washington, DC.
