Policy Matters with Julián Castro – Housing in America: Making Connections (Part 1)

The Honorable Julián Castro, Dean's Distinguished Fellow at the LBJ School and former secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will lead a four-week seminar series on policymaking through the lens of housing. The seminar is free and open to the UT community but advance registration is required.

Seminar 3, Housing in America: Making Connections, will examine intersections of federal, state and local housing policy with transportation, education, economic development and the environment. It will also provide a practical understanding of place-based approaches to housing and neighborhood investment. This session will feature special guest Mayor Steve Adler of the City of Austin.
