Each year, the LBJ School is proud to recognize two outstanding alumni whose leadership, service, and contributions reflect the values of the LBJ community. Join us at Party on the Plaza as we celebrate this year’s Outstanding Alumni Award recipients and bring together alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the LBJ School for an evening of fun and celebration.
Distinguished Public Service Award winner, R. Paul Kinscherff (MPAff/MBA '85)
Paul Kinscherff has been selected as the recipient of this year's Distinguished Public Service Award. Established in 1989, this award is presented each year to an LBJ alum whose career and public service record best represents the values and mission of the LBJ School.
LBJ Rising Leader Award winner, Katie Fine (MPAff '15)
Katie Fine has been selected as the recipient of this year's LBJ Rising Leader Award. This award recognizes the efforts of our newer alumni who exemplify the LBJ mission of “improving the quality of public service in the United States and abroad at all levels of governance and civic engagement.”
