***Excellence in Leadership classes require a minimum of eight (8) participants to proceed. This ensures participants gain the full benefit of the training experience.

1. Define managerial burnout and distinguish it from general workplace stress.
2. Identify common causes of burnout in state agencies and non-profits.
3. Analyze the psychological impact and its cost to organizations.
4. Evaluate leadership styles that either prevent or contribute to burnout.
5. Develop personal strategies to prevent and manage burnout.
6. Recommend organizational-level interventions that reduce managerial burnout.
7. Design sustainable recovery plans that promote long-term leadership well-being.
8. Create a personal commitment plan to maintain energy, purpose and resilience.
