Schedule at a Glance
- 9 AM: Student Check In and Arrival in the North Lobby
Students must be checked in by 9:45 AM. - 9:30 AM: LBJA Doors Open for Guests
- 10:30 AM: Ceremony Start Time
- All graduates and guests are invited to attend the LBJ Graduation Celebration on the Plaza immediately following the program
- 12:00 PM: Reception on the LBJ Plaza
Security
To assist with making your visit to campus safe and enjoyable, please note the following safety procedures are in place for all Commencement activities. Please review all guidelines before arriving to campus.
Food, drinks and non-clear purses and bags are not permitted in the Auditorium. Please note our Clear Bag Policy and list of Prohibited Items for all commencement events. We are unable to provide storage for personal items.
Parking
First come, first serve parking is available in Lots 37-39. If surface parking becomes full, guests are encouraged to park in the Manor Garage (MAG), San Jacinto Garage (SJG), or any of the other seven university parking garages.
Services for Graduates/Visitors with Disabilities
LBJ Auditorium is ADA accessible through elevators located on the first floor lobby or through the downstairs entrance near the LBJ Library steps. Additional information on ADA parking.
Movers & Change-Makers
The Movers & Change-Makers series highlights some of the 2025 graduates of the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs who are set to make an impact in both their policy areas and communities. These leaders embody the core values of The University of Texas at Austin, including learning, discovery, freedom, leadership, individual opportunity and responsibility. Through their studies at the LBJ School, they are gaining know-how to change the world.
