LBJ 50th Anniversary: Genius for Good

The LBJ School of Public Affairs is postponing one of its LBJ 50th Anniversary Forums, Genius for Good, previously scheduled for March 11, until mid-September 2020.

Classes and operations are continuing as usual at the LBJ School and across The University of Texas at Austin campus. Over the past few days, a growing list of distinguished speakers from out of town have advised us that, regrettably, they will not be able to attend the March 11 event, given disruptions in their work or travel schedules due to issues surrounding COVID-19. We believe that this postponement will ensure our ability to deliver the robust and "genius"-packed program that we envisage.

The School's 50th Anniversary celebration schedule in 2020 remains the same for the LBJ Forum Humanity: It's Time scheduled for April 30 here in Austin and Democracy's Destiny in Washington, DC on Nov. 12, 2020. The new September date for Genius for Good will be announced within the week.
