Welcome to Gone to LBJ!
Please note: This is a private event for incoming LBJ students.
Kick off your first semester by connecting with your fellow LBJ students before heading to the University-wide Gone to Texas celebration. This is your chance to connect with your classmates, enjoy refreshments, and celebrate the start of your college experience.
Enjoy refreshments, play lawn games and other fun activities, pick up orange glow sticks, necklaces, and your LBJ shirt, then join your classmates as you walk together to the Tower for the official Gone to Texas welcome.

Getting from the LBJ Library to the UT Tower:
- On Foot: Many students walk from the LBJ Plaza to the UT Tower. Bring your water and walk with a new friend.
- By Public Transportation: The UT 640 Shuttle (ride for free with a UT ID) picks up behind the LBJ Library at Robert Dedman and Trinity and drops off in front of the Main Mall at University and 21st.
