Urban mobility is transforming at a rapid pace. Population shifts and new technology advancements are applying pressure to the transportation system, necessitating new policies. Learn how to shape urban mobility policies by studying core issues of the past, present, and future—from the establishment of the interstate highway system to the workforce impacts of last-mile drone delivery. Students will learn cross-cutting skills by analyzing complex transportation and land use policies, planning for advanced transportation technologies, and communicating effectively with policymakers. Drawing from lectures, guest speakers, and course materials, students will be well equipped to shape the next generation of urban mobility policy.
