Description:

This policy research project will be in collaboration with Publish What You Fund, a London-based INGO devoted to increasing the transparency and accountability of development finance.  The course has three broad goals: (1) provide students with a broad understanding of sources and nature of development finance from public, private, non-profit and hybrid sectors; (2) build an in-depth understanding of the burgeoning role of development finance institutions (DFIs) in the global landscape of fundings sources for development; and (3) contribute to primary data collection for the bi-annual Development Finance Transparency Index and conduct analysis on trends in development finance transparency.
