ECON DISCRIMINATION/POLICY
In this course we will investigate differences in outcomes by race, gender, and other personal characteristics. We will study economic theories of discrimination, empirical work testing those theories, and policies aimed at alleviating group-level differences in economic outcomes. This course is also designed to teach students to read and think critically about academic research, and to discuss controversial topics in a respectful, informed, and inclusive manner.
