Equality Project

The Pride Policy Alliance presents the Equality Project.

The Equality Project is a public education and civic engagement program that focuses on policy issues and their effect on Texas citizens. The Project also trains participants to establish relationships with their state representatives and senators and to advocate for policy changes with their elected officials. The training covers an overview of LGBTQ issues in Texas, information on best practices for visiting with your lawmaker, including how to tell your story, role-playing office visits, and a walk through the legislative process in Texas.
