With experts fearing that the coronavirus will continue to plague San Antonio and Bexar County well into 2021, a crucial question remains unanswered: Who’s going to pay for what the Metropolitan Health District needs to fight the virus? “The fact that it’s a continuing nature that was not anticipated is something that local governments did not have built into the budget for their public health department.” Said professor Sherri Greenberg.
