The Strauss Center at the University of Texas at Austin, in partnership with the National Security Law Program at Columbia Law School, presents the latest installments in an ongoing series of national security law webinars. On July 29 and Aug. 5, Professor Matt Waxman of Columbia will present a series of lectures concerning the Constitution and war powers.

In this lecture, Professor Waxman will discuss how the Constitution allocates authority over the actual waging of war among the branches, as well as constitutional disputes regarding the termination of war.

No registration is required, although the size of the audience is limited to 100 participants. Please note that you must have a registered Zoom account to log in to this webinar. For questions, please contact
