The War in Ukraine: On the Battlefield, in the Kremlin, and the Courtroom

On Wednesday, September 13, the Clements Center for National Security, the Strauss Center for International Security and Law, and the Clements-Strauss Intelligence Studies Project, will host “The War in Ukraine: On the Battlefield, in the Kremlin, and in the Courtroom.” Ambassador Clint Williamson, Lead Coordinator of the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group (ACA) for Ukraine, will give keynote remarks on “Investigating Russian War Crimes: Ukraine’s Quest for Justice.” General Vince Brooks, U.S. Army, Ret., Former Commander, United Nations Command/ Combined Forces Command/United States Forces Korea; Susan Colbourn, Associate Director of the Triangle Institute for Security Studies, Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University; Simon Miles, Assistant Professor of Slavic and Eurasian Studies, Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University; and Mark Pomar, Senior National Security Fellow, Clements Center for National Security, will participate in a panel discussion on “Russia’s War in Ukraine: Where Does it Stand? How Will it End?”

This event is free and open to all students and the public and is being held in conjunction with UT's National Security Career Fair. Advance registration is required. Parking is available for a fee at Manor and Brazos garages. Complimentary lunches will be available.
