How Washington Works: Policy in Practice
This course provides students with direct exposure to the development, implementation, and evaluation of foreign policy through experiential learning in the classroom and beyond. Using policy simulations, structured debates, site visits, practitioner engagement, and guided discussions, students examine how foreign policy decisions are made and carried out in real-world settings. The course emphasizes the practical application of policy concepts and the challenges of translating ideas into action.
