SYSTEMS APPROACH FOR CLIMATE ADAPTATION POLICY IN UKRAINE

 

This course (also serving as a PRP) examines the challenges of restoring agricultural productivity and food security in Ukraine and focuses on systems-level thinking to climate adaptation solutions. Through a combination of interactive discussions, lectures, guest speakers, and group projects, students will explore the challenges posed by climate change to food security as war continues in Ukraine and provide a portfolio of adaptation strategies while assessing institutional capacity and agricultural production. This course will emphasize a variety of science and culturally based solutions, climate-smart practices, strategic policies, and international cooperation required to sustain Ukraine's climate and food resilience.
