ECONOMIC DISCRIMINATION AND POLICY

ECONOMIC DISCRIMINATION AND POLICY
In this course we will investigate differences in economic outcomes by race, gender, sexual orientation and other demographic groups. We will study economic theories of discrimination, empirical work testing those theories, and policies aimed at alleviating group-level differences in outcomes. This course is also designed to teach students to read and think critically about academic research, and to approach policy evaluation and design from an evidence-based perspective.
