The LBJ School and LBJ Alumni Board are proud to announce that starting this year, there will be a new tradition of hosting those classes celebrating their 5th, 10th, 15th, etc. reunion. The LBJ School Alumni Weekend reunion event will take place one weekend early each fall semester, this year beginning on Friday, Sept. 14.

This year's Alumni Weekend will include:
FRIDAY
- 6:00-8:00 PM: Outstanding Alumni Awards (LBJ School Lobby) All LBJ alumni, faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend this kickoff reception. The Distinguished Public Service Award and Rising Leader Award will be presented. Hear remarks by Dean Angela Evans, as well as those who have nominated and worked with the award recipients. Light bites and drinks will be provided.

Nancy La Vigne (MPAff '91) For her development in—and public service to—criminal justice policy nationwide, commitment she demonstrates to the next generation of leaders, and incredible passion she brings to her work.
Rising Leader Award
Rachel Hoff (MGPS '14) For her notable contributions to legislative, defense and security policy in a remarkably short time.
SATURDAY
- Individual Class Events
- 3:00 PM: LBJ Austin Area Alumni Chapter and LBJ Great Tailgate Society's Alumni Tailgate (LBJ School Breezeway) All LBJ alumni, faculty, staff and students are invited to attend. A $10 ticket gets you unlimited food, drink and friends. A TV will also be set up so you can stay and watch the game with fellow LBJ'ers.
