2018 LBJ DC Fellow
Laura Santos received her Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Saint Edward’s University with a minor in psychology. After graduating, Laura served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with the city of Austin, developing civic-engagement and workforce development programming for high school students and was promoted to VISTA leader to help expand the city’s program. While in graduate school in Austin, she continued to coordinate workforce development opportunities for area high school students.
