LBJ School alumna Greta Rymal has generously established The Greta and Joe Rymal Endowed Scholarship in Public Affairs to benefit graduate students pursuing their master's degrees in public affairs or global policy studies.
The Rymals both earned their master's degrees at The University of Texas at Austin; Greta received a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School, and Joe received a Master of Business Administration at the McCombs School of Business. They each enjoyed fulfilling careers in their respective fields — careers that were kickstarted by their UT experiences and the value their degrees carried in the workplace.
When asked why she decided to make this gift, Rymal said, "I am grateful to assist LBJ students as they pursue their own journeys in public policy and service."
We are grateful to Greta and her late husband, Joe, for their generosity, which will benefit the LBJ community in perpetuity.
