Delgerjargal Uvsh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies, with courtesy appointment to the faculty of the Department of Government and LBJ School of Public Affairs, at the University of Texas at Austin. A native of Mongolia, she conducts research and teaches on when and how positive changes in state-business relations, political regimes, and environmental policies and discourses happen in countries rich in natural resources, particularly in Central Asia, Russia, and Mongolia.  

Dr. Uvsh received her Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has held fellowships at New York University, University of Southern California, and University of Houston.
