Mickey Edwards served Oklahoma's 5^th District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1977 to 1993. After Congress he taught at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and now serves as a vice president of the Aspen Institute. A founding trustee of the Heritage Foundation and national chairman of the American Conservative Union, Edwards has been a political columnist for the Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune, and was a weekly commentator on NPR's "All Things Considered."
