Spring 2015 - 61225 - PA388K - Advanced Topics in Public Policy

Terror & Consent: Constitutional & International Law

This is a short but intense study of one book: Terror and Consent: The Wars for the 21st Century. The instructor is the author. Each meeting takes up one chapter of the text. Half the class is devoted to lecture and questions by the instructor; the other half to questions put to the instructor by the students. In lieu of an exam, student papers are prepared that take up a subject in the war on terror as discussed by an author whose views contrast with those of the instructor.

This class is cross-listed with LAW 379M #28730. LAW is the home department.

Class meets 1/20/15 through 3/12/15.
