AUSTIN, Texas, June 25, 2014 – Dr. David Springer has been named as the new Director of the RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin, it was announced today by LBJ School Dean Robert Hutchings. Springer, who began his professional career as a clinical social worker, has been a member of The University of Texas at Austin’s School of Social Work since 1997 where he is a University Distinguished Teaching Professor.
