The Honorable Julián Castro, Dean's Distinguished Fellow at the LBJ School and former secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will lead a four-week seminar series on policymaking through the lens of housing. The seminar is free and open to the UT community but advance registration is required.

Seminar 2, Housing in America: Affordability and Access, will examine historic and present day legal, economic and social barriers to housing accessibility. It will also explore the current housing affordability crisis in the United States with an emphasis on understanding how federal, state and local policies impact housing cost.
