Course Description:

Performance budgeting may be the best way to respond to increasing customer demand at a reasonable cost. Performance budgeting provides the means to link performance goals to the appropriate resources and then hold managers at each level accountable for achieving the results.

Performance-based budgets put the money where the goals are. Large organizations and the government are increasingly turning to this results-based approach to allocate limited resources.

Course Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Select meaningful performance measures
  • Create a performance-based budget, step-by-step
  • Decide if performance-based budgeting is right for your organization
  • Choose the key questions to ask in developing a strategic plan and a balanced scorecard
  • Link annual plans with the budget

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your registration, your written cancellation notice must be received before January 16, 2019 in order for you to receive a full refund. Thereafter, cancellation notices received after January 16, 2019 and before February 13, 2019 will be charged a $65 administrative fee. If cancellation occurs between February 13, 2019 and the start of the class, you will be responsible for 50% of the original fee. If we do not receive written notice of cancellation prior to the event, you will be responsible for the full registration fee. You may send a substitute to the class.
