Camille Meshack is a dual-degree Master of Global Policy Studies/Law student from Dallas, Texas. One of three student chairs for this year's Barbara Jordan National Forum, Camille completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Since the inaugural class in 2020, The LBJ Women’s Campaign School (LBJWCS) has trained nearly 250 leaders as candidates and campaign managers. Nine LBJWCS Alumni are on the ballot in 2024. The Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership at Texas Woman’s University is providing 30 full-tuition LBJWCS scholarships to knock down socioeconomic barriers for Texas women in politics.

Student Spotlight: From Policy Apprenticeships to Graduation, A DC Fellow’s Journey

Through the DC Concentration, Will Barrett (MGPS-DC ) found himself in the rooms where foreign policy happens. He took LBJ classes at night and worked by day, notably contributing to subnational diplomacy goals at Foreign Policy for America and gaining insights into federal government operations at the Department of State’s European and Eurasian Bureau. He graduates on Dec. 9 with a readiness to change the world.
