The David Warner Graduate Fellowship Endowment | LBJ School of Public Affairs | The University of Texas at Austin

Dean Angela Evans feels strongly that graduate fellowship support is fundamental to attracting the best and brightest students and sustaining the LBJ School's stellar reputation.

Alumni and friends of the school have heard this call and have come together to create the David Warner Graduate Student Fellowship Endowment.

In addition to reducing the financial burden of graduate school for LBJ students, the David Warner Fellowship will commemorate Dr. Warner's outstanding service to the LBJ School for over 40 years. In addition to authoring 65 articles and book chapters and serving on state and local advisory boards, he has directed and published more than 20 student policy research projects, one of which resulted in the creation of the Texas Diabetes Council. Throughout his career, Dave has garnered the admiration of both students and faculty. His enduring legacy will be the extraordinary network of alumni working in the health arena in the state, the nation and around the world.
