The Biennial Legislative Communication Conference has been sponsored jointly by the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, Inc. since 1998. It is designed to bring government executives, appointees, senior staffers and elected officials together to discuss the upcoming session of the Texas Legislature.

At this conference you will have the opportunity to:

 · Learn from statewide elected officials about issues they plan to champion during the session;

· Hear first hand discussions about budget issues, legislative priorities, contracting and procurement recommendations, Hurricane Harvey ramifications and how to work successfully with elected leaders of the  Texas Senate and House of Representatives; and

· Listen to predictions for the 2019 session.

Your registration fee includes a full day of discussion about the upcoming 2019 session, a Continental Breakfast, a Networking Luncheon and valuable materials to support you throughout the upcoming legislative year.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your registration, your written cancellation notice must be received before September 5, 2018 in order for you to receive a full refund. Thereafter, cancellation notices received after September 5, 2018 and before October 3, 2018 will be charged a $65 administrative fee. If cancellation occurs between October 3, 2018 and the start of the class, you will be responsible for 50% of the original fee. If we do not receive written notice of cancellation prior to the event, you will be responsible for the full registration fee. You may send a substitute to the class.
