The Biennial Legislative Communication Conference has been sponsored jointly by the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, Inc. since 1998. It is designed to bring government executives, appointees, senior staffers and elected officials together to discuss the upcoming session of the Texas Legislature.
At this conference you will have the opportunity to:
· Learn from statewide elected officials about issues they plan to champion during the session;
· Hear first hand discussions about budget issues, legislative priorities, contracting and procurement recommendations, Hurricane Harvey ramifications and how to work successfully with elected leaders of the Texas Senate and House of Representatives; and
· Listen to predictions for the 2019 session.
Your registration fee includes a full day of discussion about the upcoming 2019 session, a Continental Breakfast, a Networking Luncheon and valuable materials to support you throughout the upcoming legislative year.
A full agenda will be available soon!
