Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law

From geomapping international aid in Malawi, to working to improve open data and citizen engagement in Uganda, to exploring complex emergencies in Southeast Asia, LBJ students interested in international development are gaining incredible hands-on experience as student researchers, summer interns and graduate research fellows and assistants. What’s more, their important and concentrated work is paid, and often helps jumpstart their careers after graduation.
