Topics for these policy seminars have included environmental and natural resources policy, health-service delivery policy, social welfare policy, transportation policy, science and technology policy, international affairs, national security, urban and regional growth policy, and political campaigns.
This course will review the literature regarding critical ethics impacting and affecting fundraising in postsecondary institutions; all sectors. We will examine numerous topics such as;
- Compensation for Fundraising advancement staff,
- Ethics & Conflict of Interest Policies,
- Principles of Practice within the advancement officers in educational institutions,
- Promoting Ethics in the Advancement Office and partners within postsecondary institutions.
Theory and “best practice” of ethics and conflict resolution within the fundraising profession and specifically all sectors in postsecondary education. Readings will examine practical applications as well as current ethical news in postsecondary institutions and within the profession.
