Topics for these policy seminars have included environmental and natural resources policy, health-service delivery policy, social welfare policy, transportation policy, science and technology policy, international affairs, national security, urban and regional growth policy, and political campaigns.
This course will review the literature regarding fundraising and apply knowledge to a postsecondary institutions; all sectors. We will examine theory and “best practice” of fundraising within the profession and specifically all sectors in postsecondary education. Class topics will cover basic to advance theory and best practice of fundraising including data mining, donor identification and cultivation, marketing and ethics, planned giving, and identify future trends in the profession. Readings will examine practical applications as well as current news in postsecondary institutions and within the profession.
