Abby holds a Master of Public Policy from The George Washington University and Bachelor of Arts in political science from St. Olaf College. Immediately prior to attending the LBJ School, Abby worked as a policy fellow covering family economic security, education, and employment issues at the National Women’s Law Center in Washington, DC. Prior work has included positions and internships at organizations such as the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, CLASP, and the Lincoln Park Community Shelter. Abby's broad research interests include social welfare policy, family policy, poverty reduction, and child development. Abby currently works as a graduate research assistant for the Child and Family Research Partnership.
