Former Sec. of Labor Ray Marshall to be Honored at Economic Policy Institute's 25th Anniversary Dinner in Washington, D.C.
Former U.S. Secretary of Labor and LBJ School Professor Emeritus Ray Marshall will be honored at the Economic Policy Institute's 25th Anniversary Dinner on November 1 in Washington, D.C. Marshall is one of the Institute's original founders and a current Distinguished Fellow.
The Economic Policy Institute (EPI) is a non-profit, non-partisan think tank. It was created in 1986 to broaden discussions about economic policy to include the needs of low- and middle-income workers.

Marshall also established the Ray Marshall Center for the Study of Human Resources at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. The Ray Marshall Center identifies and fosters creative solutions to challenging education, workforce and social problems through applied research, policy analysis and innovative program design.
