The Foundation Center RFP Search: Profiles of Foundations and limited funding searches. The Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist has access to the full database.

Decade of Behavior (FundSource): FundSource is a tool designed to help behavioral and social scientists find research funding.

UCLA GRAPES Database: GRAPES contains information on scholarships, fellowships, internships, and awards for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.

Humanities and Social Sciences Net (H-Net): H-Net creates and coordinates Internet networks for research in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Michigan State University Libraries: Grants and related resources, organized by disciplines and kept relatively currrent. Also general information on writing proposals and grant research.

The Collaborative Partnership: A program of UT-Arlington that has a feed of posting and opportunities to collaborate with other Texas researchers in public and private sectors.

ResearchResearch Lite: Offers custom email alerts and limited funding searches in all disciplines.

Community of Science: Leading global resource for information critical to scientific research and other projects across all disciplines. A searchable, continuously updated, database of funding opportunities in biomedical research and science education. Listserve available at

Major Federal Agency Searches Search and find competitive grant opportunities from most Federal grant-making agencies. For ALL published calls, including Federal agencies that do not subscribe to, search the Federal Register.

National Institutes of Health (NIH): U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services' funding opportunities for medical and behavioral research. Sign up for the weekly NIH Funding Opportunities and Notices listserv.

National Science Foundation (NSF): NSF awards grants for research and education in the sciences, mathematics, and engineering. National Science Foundation Update allows you to receive notifications about new content posted on the NSF website. Notification can be received via email or RSS.

National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH): NEH supports research, education, preservation, and public programs in the humanities. They sponsor an active Digital Humanities Initiative listserve that provides insight into their funding priorities.

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA): NEA supports nine disciplines in the arts and arts education, including literature, poetry, preservation, access, and translation.

US Department of Education (ED): Search the Forecast of Funding Opportunities for upcoming RFPs.

The Institute of International Education: IIE, an independent non-profit organization founded in 1919, is a world leader in the exchange of people and ideas.

US Department of Energy (DOE): Besides funding for basic research on energy, the advancement of science, mathematics and technology education is an essential part of DOE's mission.

The National Academies: Sciences, Engineering, Medicine and Research. Links to associateship and fellowship opportunities, especially for young scientists.
