This course introduces students to the systematic analysis of international affairs. It covers the major theoretical approaches to understanding international relations, explores the major characteristics of the structures that define the international arena, and investigates the most important actors that play a role in global politics. The aim is to provide students with some analytical frameworks to approach foreign policy problems methodically.
