The MGPS Capstone Simulation Exercise is a one credit-hour course designed to allow students to apply various core components of the MGPS curriculum and draw on the knowledge that students have developed through their specialization coursework. Students will apply research skills to a realistic policy analysis scenario, assume the roles of senior level policy staff, and develop positions on a real world issue. Students will meet in the normally scheduled class period for organizational meetings, assigning roles, planning preparatory research, short writing assignments and presentations to address a crisis in a time-constrained environment.
