Information on the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund

The State of Texas' Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund (TIF) is a $1.5 billion grant program, to be implemented over ten years beginning in 1996, to support the deployment and use of advanced telecommunications technologies in Texas public schools, hospitals, libraries, and other public institutions.
